Community-led programmes. Responsible evidence. Lasting opportunity.
Tijwun Care and Empowerment Foundation is a Nigerian nonprofit working with women, adolescent girls and young people across health and WASH, education and leadership, climate resilience, and community research.
A foundation born from a simple conviction.
TIJCEF was founded on the belief that lasting change begins by listening to adolescent girls, women and young people whose needs and ideas are too often excluded from programme decisions.
What began with community and school outreach has grown into a multidisciplinary foundation with recorded activities in Adamawa, Katsina, Taraba. TIJCEF combines practical delivery with safeguarding, monitoring, learning and public accountability.

Vision
A resilient and inclusive Nigeria where women, adolescent girls and young people can live with dignity, exercise agency and lead thriving communities.
Mission
To work with underserved communities through health and WASH, education and leadership, climate resilience, and evidence-led programmes that expand wellbeing, participation and opportunity.

Community trust must be matched by evidence and accountability.
TIJCEF exists to expand practical opportunities for women and young people, particularly adolescent girls facing barriers to health information, education, dignity and participation.
We listen first, protect the people who participate in our work, document delivery and distinguish people reached from longer-term outcomes. That discipline is central to how TIJCEF intends to grow.
If you believe, as we do, that women and youth are the architects of Nigeria's future, I invite you to walk with us.
Meet the people behind the mission.
