Women-Led Organisations Can Access Up to €5,000 WomenPower2030 Grant

The Women Environmental Programme (WEP) is accepting applications for the 2026 WomenPower2030 Seed Grant, offering up to €5,000 to eligible women-led and women’s rights organisations in Nigeria and Sierra Leone.

The grant supports projects that promote women’s leadership, gender equality, climate action, and sustainable development. Priority will be given to initiatives focused on policy advocacy, gender-responsive budgeting, coalition building, and practical sustainable solutions. Projects must last 3–6 months.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be a women-led or women’s rights organisation.
• Have at least 70% women in management.
• Be based in Nigeria or Sierra Leone.
• Show capacity to implement projects and have no fraud or criminal record.

Funding

• Up to €5,000 per project.
• Project duration: 3–6 months.

• Registration certificate.
• Reference letter.
• Evidence of previous work.
